"Best Camping for Group RV Rallies

My husband and I have been coming to Camp Hatteras for many years with our family as well as our camping group. Camp Hatteras offers so many amenities for hosting large groups. It has a wonderful Rally Room on the Sound Side that has a full kitchen, bathrooms, large gathering areas, and a beautiful view of the sound where you can watch the amazing sun sets. We chose to stay on the sound side so that our group would be close to each other, as well as easy access to the Rally Room. The sites are spacious with concrete level sites, full hookups, and ample maneuvering space. The campground is well maintained, easy to get around from the sound side to the ocean side, golf cart friendly, and has an amazing fenced in dog park with benches to sit on, an agility course, grooming station, and water for the dogs. The staff are very friendly and professional. It was a pleasure working with Jen Carlson who was in charge of making all of the groups reservations and ensuing that our Rally was successful. We love coming here and look forward to next year’s Rally at Camp Hatteras.
