The weather couldn’t be nicer for camping this winter.  We are experiencing an unusually warm season with days in the 50 and 60 degree range.  The sun is bright and thus, it brings an all over warm feeling to you.  It’s a beautiful, peaceful time to be on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. 

Campers are reserving into August already, so don’t delay in making your reservations with us.  Many of our callers have asked if Highway 12 is open for access to the Outer Banks, and indeed it is.  Highway 12 has been open since October 15, 2011 for safe travel from Nags Head to Hatteras.   

NEWS:   We have been busy painting and upgrading our facilities for you. The feedback has been very positive.  We look forward to a wonder year with our campers and we can’t wait to share these renovations with you!  The Staff
